How long does it take to clean a Rug?
It usually takes 10 to 14 days for the normal cleaning process, including the delivery of our rug to your door. Extra cleaning such as stains removal may take longer to clean.
Can you remove the stain on my Rug?
It is impossible to remove every stain on every carpet. Our aim is to avoid damaging the colour or the texture of the rug. The product used on permanent stains will clean the rug/carpet but most likely cause damage. Our guarantee provided to our customers is that we will notify you of stubborn/permanent stains and only then if you are willing to accept responsibility, we will continue with the process.
What should I do if I spill something on my rug?
Immediate attention should be given. Remove as much as of the spot as possible by blotting with a clean rag or paper towel. One cup of cold water mixed with a teaspoon of a mild detergent. This will help neutralise the spots before it sets in. Avoid using any store purchased carpet cleaning products. They are generally meant to clean synthetic materials and may have an adverse effect on wool rugs
How often should your rug be cleaned?
Under normal wear we suggest cleaning your rug every couple of years. But mostly it depends on the type of the rug and the amount of “use” it receives.
Is there any charge for collection/delivery of my rug?
Within our collection/collection area there is no charge on a minimum order for free collection and delivery is £75. Under this amount will incur a small charge. Please enquire about charges.
RUG CARE EXPERTS CLEANING
Our cleaning specialist will first visually inspect your carpet, they will then identify potential permanent stains and give you an evaluation of expected results.before we start to clean the carpet we check with the customer to find out if there are any main areas of concern i.e. badly stained or marked areas. We test the carpet to make sure they are safe to clean.
We do this by carrying outa colour and shrinkage test. When all the tests show that we can proceed, we then start with the cleaning process.Our rug cleaning service uses only soft organic shampoos that are then injected deeply into the rug at high pressure and then are instantly extracted, the method we use is hot water extraction, also known as steam cleaning.
RUG CARE EXPERTS RESTORATION & REPAIR
Rug CARE Experts offers rug restoration and repair services for your handmade rugs. We clean rugs and restore damaged or loose fringes and borders in our gallery we also work on tears, holes, wear and moth damage.
No matter how badly your rug is damaged it is possible to have it restored, however we will only advise serious restoration work if we believe the carpet is worth the time and expense.
